Mission:
“Tech Singularity 2025” aims to embody the vision and mission of HKITJC, by promoting professional development, innovation, and collaboration, to facilitate Hong Kong’s position as a top information technology hub.
To achieve the above mission, the following objectives are established:
1. Improve participants’ proficiency and knowledge of relevant technologies: Through seminars, conferences, workshops, and mentoring sessions, provide participants with the latest trends and in-depth insights in the fields of databases, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and information security.
2. Promoting Innovation: Through the “Smart City AI Contest,” we showcase the groundbreaking nature of AI solutions and create a thriving innovation and technology ecosystem. This aims to foster a proactive and striving culture of innovation, driving the development of smart cities and smart living.
3. Developing expertise and building networks: Create opportunities for participants to develop their professional skills, gain insights from industry experts, and connect with peers, thereby fostering exchange and advancement of knowledge. Exchange with both local and international counterparts further help Hong Kong build a strong international talent pool.
4. Support the development and application of technology: Assist communities in adapting to and utilizing new technologies to streamline operations, optimize resources, and increase market utilization.
5. Strengthening Public Awareness of Cybersecurity: Instilling basic internet defense knowledge and tools in participants to protect their digital ownership, establishing strong cybersecurity measures to support the development of digital infrastructure, and ensuring its security.
